This is one of my favourite pieces which was made from an ancient beech tree, long since fallen.
Sculpted by nature, then cleaned, prepared and fixed to an oak plinth, it makes an eye catching ornament for any room. 
It has two distinctly different sides, one a very dark, almost black mahogony brown, and the other a lovely honey coloured beech wood at the bottom with a dark green / grey bark towards the top.
This is a great feature and means you can change from one to the other as your mood takes you.
It is a sculpture that will never bore - alter the angle slightly, and it is as if you have a completely new shape to look at.
